Trust and diversity will be the currency of the future. Along with their business functions, banks are an important source of stability for economies and nations. When ChatGPT was published in November 2022, a massive infrastructure and thousands of people were required to change the social climate significantly. Currently, it is only a matter of access to a cheaper source of energy. Generative AI has replaced people and infrastructure is easily rented. Mark Brzezinski was sworn in as the Ambassador of the United States to Poland on December 22, 2021.

Ambassador Brzezinski previously served as U.S. Ambassador to Sweden from 2011 to 2015, spearheading innovative new approaches to advance U.S.-European trade and landing key Swedish investments, including Volvo’s decision to build a $1 billion factory in South Carolina. He also arranged the first-ever U.S. Presidential visit to Stockholm, which brought together all five heads of governments of the Nordic countries for a summit that galvanized a U.S.-Nordic strategic approach on energy, innovation, and sustainability. In 2015, he was asked by the White House to lead a strategic effort on the Arctic as the first Executive Director of the White House’s Arctic Executive Steering Committee.

Most recently, Ambassador Brzezinski was founder and principal of Brzezinski Strategies LLC. He was a Managing Director at Makena Capital Management, where he led the firm’s sustainable and ESG investing efforts. For a decade, he was a partner at the law firm McGuireWoods LLP, where he helped build the law firm’s international compliance practice. From 1999 to 2001, he served on President Clinton’s National Security Council staff, first as a Director for Russia and Eurasia, and then as a Director for the Balkans.

Ambassador Brzezinski is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the Trilateral Commission. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Poland in 1991-93, during which he researched and wrote a book entitled “The Struggle for Constitutionalism in Poland.” In 2010, he was named to the State Department’s Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. He received a BA from Dartmouth College, a JD from the University of Virginia, and a PhD in Political Science from Oxford University.

Since 16 of June 2024, Kilian Gross is Head of Unit CNECT A/2 Artificial Intelligence – Regulation and Compliance within the AI Office. The core task of the Unit is to ensure the implementation and compliance with the Artificial Intelligence Act within the Europe-an Union. In this respect the Unit is preparing various implementing tools such as guidance documents, implementing and delegated acts and it is supporting the development of codes of practice. The Unit supports the standardi-sation process related to the AI-Act and the international cooperation regarding the regulation of AI. Previously, the Unit had prepared the legal proposal for the AI Act and had followed the legislative negotiations until the adoption of the Act.Beside his work on AI, Kilian Gross lead the legal team, which has prepared and supported the negotiations of the proposal for a European Chips Act.Beforehand since November 2015 Kilian Gross was a member of the Cabinet of Commission-er Oettinger. Within the Cabinet, he was mainly responsible for the Commission anti-fraud policy, DG HR and at an earlier stage for various digital files. Kilian Gross has started his ca-reer in the Commission in the Legal Service followed by five years as Deputy and Acting Head of Unit in DG ENER where he worked on energy policy and on legal matters.Kilian Gross is German lawyer by training with a strong focus on European law.

Prior to joining WBD in Poland, Adam Sawicki held a number of senior management positions, including CEO of T-Mobile Polska S.A. and board member for digitization at AmRest Holding S.A.. From 1996 to 2008, he held management positions in companies in the Telia group (later TeliaSonera), gaining experience in the telecommunications markets of Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, Russia, Poland and other Central European countries. During this time he participated in numerous strategic projects, both B2B and B2C. Adam began his professional and international career in 1996 at Telia Swedtel in Stockholm, as a consultant in the business development department. He was an active member of the supervisory boards of companies such as Trigon Group, Redge Technologies and KGHM International (Canada).

Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Cybercommunication Research Center at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz
Artur Modliński is a habilitated doctor in the field of management and quality sciences, head of the Artificial Intelligence and Cybercommunication Research Center at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. At the same time, he is a researcher at the International Research Center (CITAD) at the University of Lusiada, the Urban Sensorial Laboratory in Lisbon, the Iris Ancona Institute in Riga, the Augmented Human Intelligence & Digital Ergonomics Lab at the Universita di Pavia in Italy, the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation in Florence and the European Foundation Human Development. He is the co-founder of the first Business Process Automation – BPA studies in Poland, affiliated with the Blue Prism Academy based in Great Britain, which were awarded by business due to their practical formula (the studies are carried out in cooperation with Nordea, Bosch, Fujitsu, DXC technology, Digital Workforce, Digital Teammates).
His mission is to combine business practice with academia. During his research and implementation work, he discovered and described phenomena such as techno-empowerment, technoization, algorithmic conformity, re-manualization of business processes, HMTRC – human machine trans role conflict.
His area of interest is the digital transformation of organizations, autonomous artificial intelligence, human-machine interactions and synergy, human technological extensions, posthumanism in business and gender studies in the area of adoption of new technologies.
