Joanna Erdman is the CEO of the Polish Cashless Foundation. She co-developed the Polish Cashless Program and has been a member of the Foundation’s Council since its inception. In 2023, she was recognized as one of the 50 most influential women in Poland.

An experienced manager with over 20 years of banking expertise, she helped create and develop mBank, which now serves customers in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. For her contributions to banking, she received the M. Copernicus Medal and the Remigiusz Kaszubski Award. She is passionate about digitization, technology, and modern payment solutions. Joanna has led numerous strategic projects and collaborated with key partners in implementing financial innovations, modern payment methods, open banking, VAS, digital identity, behavioral biometrics, and cloud solutions. For her support in developing the payment ecosystem, she was honored with the “Fintech Personality” title.

Joanna Erdman graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz and completed postgraduate studies in “Leadership in Innovation” at the Warsaw School of Economics. She also holds an MBA from the Polish-American Management Center and the University of Maryland.
