Hemolens Diagnostics

Short description

Our understanding of the human body has been revolutionized in the last 100 years. Now the digital revolution has completely transformed the way we provide diagnosis, prevention, and therapy. At Hemolens Diagnostics it is our mission to save human lives and our vision to do that through digitizing cardiac diagnostics.  As we all are aware, Coronary Disease is a major population ailment. Globally, approximately 19.1 million deaths are attributed to Cardiovascular Disease. That is as if the combined countries of Austria and Hungary died each year. Specifically for Coronary Heart Disease, it was estimated that in 2020, 244.1 million people were living with ischemic heart disease globally.

• The financial impact of Coronary Disease is staggering, taking resources away from other healthcare needs, the accuracy of current screening for Coronary Artery Disease is disappointing at best, leading to poor diagnosis, increased costs and a population which faces anxiety, and has little faith in the diagnosis. I mean, how many times have you been asked, or asking for a second opinion?

Our company was founded on the premise that through the application of technology we can fulfill our mission of saving lives.
• Our diagnosis is supported by a highly developed Deep Neural Network based AI engine.
• This self-learning structure cooperates with our Computational Fluid Dynamics engine – as we will further explain, Hemolens was founded by two world authorities in CFD – a mind boggling area of science dedicated to understanding the flow of fluids through vessels, fluids such as blood flowing through our arteries as an example.
• CFD provides valuable insight into hemodynamics and allows non-invasive analysis of blood flow within the cardiovascular system.
• The third element of our engine is Biomedical Engineering which analyzes information provided by CFD and provides support information for clinical decision making and therapy planning.

The Hemolens platform allows for strategic redistribution of resources through digital task shifting.
Hemolens offers Software as a Medical Service which automates fundamental tasks:
• increasing speed and accuracy of diagnosis,
• Streamlining workflows and thus,
• Optimizing resource utilization
• Improving outcomes

We have a clear go forward path – the platform we are creating will address a plethora of population ailments. We are realistic and take it one step at a time, but we also understand our vision and the development strategy that goes with it.
