Artur Modliński
Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Cybercommunication Research Center at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz
BIO
Artur Modliński is a habilitated doctor in the field of management and quality sciences, head of the Artificial Intelligence and Cybercommunication Research Center at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. At the same time, he is a researcher at the International Research Center (CITAD) at the University of Lusiada, the Urban Sensorial Laboratory in Lisbon, the Iris Ancona Institute in Riga, the Augmented Human Intelligence & Digital Ergonomics Lab at the Universita di Pavia in Italy, the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation in Florence and the European Foundation Human Development. He is the co-founder of the first Business Process Automation – BPA studies in Poland, affiliated with the Blue Prism Academy based in Great Britain, which were awarded by business due to their practical formula (the studies are carried out in cooperation with Nordea, Bosch, Fujitsu, DXC technology, Digital Workforce, Digital Teammates).
His mission is to combine business practice with academia. During his research and implementation work, he discovered and described phenomena such as techno-empowerment, technoization, algorithmic conformity, re-manualization of business processes, HMTRC – human machine trans role conflict.
His area of interest is the digital transformation of organizations, autonomous artificial intelligence, human-machine interactions and synergy, human technological extensions, posthumanism in business and gender studies in the area of adoption of new technologies.
