Irena Pichola is the CEO of Artha Consulting Network, an advisory firm supporting leaders in ESG and sustainability transformations. At Artha Consulting, she leverages her over 25 years of experience in managing advisory teams in Poland and worldwide, combining it with her passion for building climate strategies, implementing the CSRD directive, developing sustainable finance, and creating practical ESG tools. For a decade, she was a Partner at Deloitte in Central Europe, while also holding European and global leadership roles, including serving as the Global Climate Action Leader. Today, she advises management boards and non-executive directors (NEDs), supporting them in strategic ESG and climate transformations.

For more than two decades, she has also been engaged in education and promoting ESG knowledge. She currently leads the Responsible Business Forum (FOB) as the President of the organization, which is part of the international WBCSD and CSR Europe networks. She is also the founder and Chair of the Steering Committee of Chapter Zero Poland, an initiative that develops climate awareness in supervisory boards and extends its activities internationally, including to Uzbekistan and Turkey. She regularly conducts strategic sessions and workshops for companies and public institutions, as well as academic classes.

Irena has broad expertise in sustainable development strategy, transformation, reporting and disclosures (with particular emphasis on CSRD, where she co-led Deloitte’s global team), climate and natural capital management, corporate climate governance, and sustainable finance. She has carried out projects for clients including the EBRD, the European Commission, the banking sector, retail, logistics, transportation, and real estate.

Her achievements have been recognized many times – she was included in Forbes’ “Top 25 Women Leaders in Sustainability,” and in 2025 she was honored with the title of Personality of the Year in Sustainability by the Executive Business Club and with the SGH Economic Award.
